If the sentiment in the market is anything like the semi genial claptrap (nothing pesonal) that appears in this thread the price will be like a fly on the wall. There are a lot of unknowns but none of us know what this specialised section of the US property market will do. I'd rather have a piece of this sort of property than rapidly eroding cash. There are cycles, but well located retail property goes up while the value of paper money goes down. The bank alot of US investors are holding their scared cash in could go bust, too. Some over there will. Property investment is not a short term thing. The risk is there all right but the market seems always to exaggerate it. Sold at $6.75, used the lot to buy back in at 60c, so I,m down, but have a twelve month or two year horizon. Not selling, holding. For the price it is at the moment it isnt worth selling. Then the possible large upside is lost. Any who say they know for sure what is going to happen need to attend to their education. No one knows.
