Time will tell but I think you misunderstand the chinese mindset.

The Chinese have been doing this long before anyone even discovered the continent of Australia.
They know full well that in 10, 15, 20, 50, 100 years property will be much more valuable than now.
Why do you think there is a China Town in every major city in the world?
Short term fluctuations matter not to a seasoned long term investor.
