Lenni, I think you have misunderstood what I said.

I said Spodumene is high in demand. Admit I don't know the technology in detail, but I doubt about the economics of converting it into lithium carbonate, which might up against several new producers, such as the Chinese, ASX listed ADY and ORE, with potash as by-products.

If it can make a lot more money, I believe former SOG will do it first. Why they are happy only to produce Spodumene for now?

It is not the value of the final products, it is the profit margin, capex and opex issue.
