Fission power might be part of the mix in Australia, before we hopefully get to fusion power. We have ample. supplies of Uranium and Thorium and with modern DESIGN and proper LOCATION is clean and safe. We need to establish a world class waste facility first though. FAR will have no problem selling its oil as it will take decades to replace current fleets with electric vehicles, and oil will still be required for plastics,medicines etc.
I also had a strong impression from the Sydney meeting that news on resources was imminent. I believe the first week of July was suggested, and PE could be delayed further. Must be a problem or lack of agreement between the JV members on some of the detail.
