    Good evening guys,

I have taken my time to carefully read all of your comments and I have noted a range of concerns and also your questions. I acknowledge all those posters who have tagged me to get some answers. Due to the difficulties with starting new threads and off-topic posts, I am presently in discussion with the HC administration to find the best way to be able to answer your inquiries.

But first, we must address the Medcan Lead Cultivator issue that came up late last night.

After reading @Pipera and @Bilson's comments, I immediately contacted various management to share concerns about the information found in a Google Search by these two posters. When I spoke to Medcan management they were very shocked to hear about this and promised to investigate this matter thoroughly. I can assure you that they have been very diligent to keep Sholom informed throughout today.

I am very pleased to report that the first round of investigations have been completed. Sholom has requested that I post this notice on the HC forum on behalf of the Board of QBL and the management team of Medcan Australia.

    FROM SHOLOM FELDMAN

We have contacted the directors of Medcan for clarification around their suggested expert and highly regarded horticulturist. Medcan is still an independent entity that employs and sources its staff and contractors independently of QBL, and QBL were not involved in the sourcing of Medcan's personnel, and were only informed of Jarad's potential involvement yesterday when it was posted on social media.

We have been informed that Jarad is not yet an employee of Medcan, and as a potential employee, background checks were still underway. The directors of Medcan inform us that their understanding is that the charges against Jarad were dropped and it appears that he currently has a clean police record.

We will follow the formal process and will come to our own conclusions after all the checks have been concluded and we will not come to any prejudged conclusions prior to the completion of this process.

We would like to make it absolutely clear that this current process does not have any effect on Medcan's licenses or on QBL's legal reporting requirements, and it can not even be suggested that Medcan has done anything wrong under the law, as Jarad has not yet been employed by Medcan, and we are informed by Medcan that any employment was in any event subject to full completion of these background checks to ensure suitability under the law.

We will ensure that whoever will be working in our facilities will be considered under the law as fit and proper persons. People need to understand that every person has the right to be given a fair go. We live in a society where people should be given the presumption of innocence and should be given a fair go, and especially if the charges were in fact dropped, then Jarad is deserving of that basic common right as well unless any evidence to the contrary is confirmed under the law.

QBL will advise the directors of Medcan of their view on Jarad's potential employment only after the formal internal research and processes are complete.

    Thank you.
