Well, I'm going off extensive conversations I've had with geologists who have worked all over the world in multiple juristictions and I'm not a lawyer with experience interpreting Quebec or Canadian statutes of law but the first things that strikes me there with your comments are these:
"You can overflow credit from other claims you own nearby and past exploration expenditure above minimum amounts can be carried over into the next 6 claim renewal periods (i.e. 12 years)".
I'm pretty sure we don't have enough exploration expenditure on our other multiple projects to overflow any credit towards another, and if there is any it very likely wouldn't meet minimum amounts, probably just meets minimum amounts for only one or two of those specific projects. Particularly as we haven't really touched most of them, even Cancet hasn't been drilled for 9 months. And what does the law consider to be "nearby"? Up to 50 km? What have we got that close?
And yes, of course exploration includes those things you mentioned, they do count towards making up those minimum amounts, but kicking a rock over isn't going to do anything to satisfy the Government or Nemaska and their teams of lawyers.
You have pointed out that Nemaska may well have a better claim to this tenement than us, unfortunately. If we don't use it, we are at great risk of losing it. It is not a good thing that it borders their mine and we haven't touched it, that is an error of judgement.
