"What you don’t get about the Trinity is 1+1+1=1 not 1+1+1=3
Father, Son, and The Holy Spirit = ONE God, not 3 Gods
Eg, One apple core + one apple body + apple skin = 1 apple not 3 apples"

I think that we need to remember when discussing religious doctrine that two concepts are at play.

    1)
Logic needs to be applied when the logic supports the believers beliefs.
So 1+1+1=1 is illogical and so the trinity doctrine is refuted.

    2)
The "mystery of God" concept needs to be applied when this support believers beliefs.
So 1+1+1=1 is about the mystery of the unity of God made up of three parts, and the trinity doctrine is supported.

Disagreements arise when there is no agreement as to where these two concepts need to be applied.
