Two relevant points to make
Firstly, strong mineralization in previous holes would have easily been visually recognizable, so I daresay from visuals alone they would have known hole 4 was a duster, confirmed by assays, and visuals suggest hole 6 also is a duster. But interestingly, hole 5 for which assays are awaited, which targeted the mineralization down plunge, they are saying the plunge remains intact ( presumably based on visuals) so my take on this is hole 5 will continue the strong mineralization.
Secondly, some perspective. Even with the massive Olympic Dam deposit, some holes were dusters. In fact they initially drilled 13 holes into it as I recall before one even hit mineralization !.
So lets keep todays announcement in perspective. Smart money will be buying the initial dip
