One of the things I struggle with is ....how did NC sell $11m worth of product in 1HF 2017 ... I
know he gave it away at cost ...therefore only .1m profit..... and comparing that to the current
situation where sales have failed to report any significant contract. What it does say is..... our
product(s) are functional and are able to compete ( at that particular price point ) . It also leads
us to conclude that our products are more expensive than the incumbents ( with AJX's margins
applied ) in the market ... however...
Alexium constantly state that our products are .... "less expensive and easy for a company to
adopt our technology with minimal disruption and cost "....
Minimal disruption and costs would seem to be supported by the fact that $11m in sales was
achieved in half a year with reportedly smaller type customers ..... Less expensive , well who
knows ...
Hmm.....It was about 9 months ago when Dirk mentioned movement in legislation in
relation to Toxic Chemicals ( including FR )where he predicted that the approval process
through Government would likely take 1.5-2 years...however he also mention the pressure on
organisations to drop toxic FR in the lead up will be evident ...
I see the outcome in this area ....legislation and the enforcement against toxic FR as critical
for Alexium.... aside from that it doesn't bode well for Alexium in the FR space...imo
The most important next test in FR is Alexiflam NF ...compliance was given 3-4 months ago ....
PCM's are a different story , our products are performing and competing at the current
price and "coolness" metrics and seems to be gaining traction ....
Would be interesting to see the comparison in sales between PCM and FR's atm....
