It may take a while to get to $60. Sentiment to banks is all bearish currently. Sub prime in America has not yet finished and flow on effect to Monoliners may also dampen sentiment on bank stocks. In Aust, it is largely guilt by association, but there is still an impact with the cost of money tightening margins.
It depends how long you can absorb the loss. I would not like to predict when banks will show an appreciable rise again.
