Just been speaking to an oil and gas reporter in Perth, he made the following points

1, Possible new partners could be BHP (as they know the field), Apache or Coogee (might be to small).

2, MD of AED seen walking down St Georges Terrace looking very stressed which is understandable.

3, If this deal is not concluded than it all over for AED.

4, If deal done AED will be lucky to have 1/4 of its current landholdings.
