The previous Malaysian government supported Lynas, yet still delayed the LAMP starting operations and imposed what could be considered onerous conditions on the company.
The new Malaysian government could be considered hostile towards Lynas with the new minister putting two of the most outspoken opponents against Lynas in charge of a review. Just think for a moment what one negative statement form either Wong or Fuziah could potentially do to the SP. Lynas is currently at the mercy of its two biggest opponents.
No wonder Lynas SP is getting smashed.
After all these years the company has struggled, finally it starts looking like Lynas can fulfil its ture potential and then WHAM!
