There is nothing in act 304 that states a bond is part of normal licensing conditions.
The storage facility for the Bukit Merah cleanup cost around US$100m and while the waste had higher radioactivity, there was much less than what LAMP will produce over its life.
My concern is purely about the unresolved WLP residue disposal issue. It creates uncertainty and I don’t trust the new governments ability to resolve the issue without imposing further financial burden on the company.
Lynas SP has been in a sharp short term down trend since PH won the election. Clearly the market has its concerns as well.
Hope I am wrong.
