I saw your comments on the CID impurities in the BRM thread. These days being a little less provocative I will post here

From my understanding the CIDs on't offer the bang for buck beneficiation that BHP and RIO achieve on the traditional ores. The silica in particular is finely dispersed, so liberation (grinding) is needed as a prepatory step. Washing CIDs would rid the ore of clays, thats about it
