just been walking down the street mulling over our HC conversations & yesterdays comments where we touched on the archival records.
remember the 2005 annual report (page 5) where it says :"the veins range to 50cm thick & carry grades in the 1000's g/t Au".
well i assume that that quote can only be taken from the archival records, as i have never seen any assay results coming close to those numbers in any report between 1998 - 2008.
firstly, the word VEINS is in the plural. therefore there is more than one reef being referred to.
secondly, the word GRADES is in the plural. therefore there is more than one hit at over 1000g/t.
we do know that the 1930's hit of 17608g/t comes from the 7 sub-level (kenny's reef). though the location of all the other VEINS we remain in the dark over.
another point, taken from the 1998 resource report by morrie goodz (page 7), is about bulk sampling where "our studies have shown grade increases in excess of 100% from the bulk sampling" compared to assay results. and "even greater grade increases between" assay grades & production grades.
