Word of mouth may bump demand initially, especially amongst the most desperate of families, but the ASD community is pretty tight nit, and if the evidence is not there or not valid or reliable (which this study is not really either of) then it will be a small and short lived bump. That's assuming all the word of mouth is positive and not people saying they forked out a lot of money for something that didn't make much difference for their child.
