Atomou I know just where your coming from on land but to stop overseas investors would not help too much I feel. Though I see the effects more than most as I'm in tassie and the north islanders have destroyed the hopes of youngsters trying to buy a house. I was lucky I got in early enough and so I'm now a home owner with 1000s in equity and I'm only 30. I feel the best way to deal with high house prices is to be more realistic about the size of them and the land there on. 10 houses to an acre in the uk with parking for 2 cars each. Immigration policy is good really it's just in need of some tuning up. preferably by some people who have been through it but like me feel it should not for any reason be a flood gate.
