Check the FICO report it is few years old, but the numbers are way off what you have quoted.
Afterpay is payday lending, the only difference is that it is for discretionary spending and the interest is paid by the retailer. I suspect that most people actually pay their instalments using a credit card, so it is nothing but extra interest free days.
