Dont for a second underestimate the problems facing the US financial sector, this is the very heart of the biggest economy in the world, surgery is in progress and so far things arnt looking good, we all no what happens if the heart stops, thats extreme to say i know and i dont think its the end of the world, but markets do overshoot both ways and the US will face alot more pain before sunny days are in front of them.
Long term everything will pan out, short term(6 months) things can get very nasty, it always amuses me when people say they arnt worried about the short term yet they watch their stock prices every minute of the day
