RIDING ON PILBARA IRON ORE
Diversified explorer BMY is planning to drill three priority
iron ore and manganese projects during the June half:
o Pardoo East - #1 Priority Iron Ore
× Testing two big geophysical targets under 40 -
60m cover (target one is 5km long by 0.4km
wide, target two is 2km long by 2km wide)
× Infrastructure rich - 250km east of Port Hedland
and in close proximity to a railway, coastal
highway, and gas pipeline
× Atlas (AGO) has been successful next door at
Pardoo in the shared Nimingarra Formation
o Goldsworthy - #2 Priority Iron Ore
× BMY first hole assay results include 30m @
29% Fe from 96m
× The hole also hit two hematite rich zones with
grades of 28.9% and 25.2% Fe
o Bootu Creek North - #1 Priority Manganese
× Located 10km from OMH's Bootu Creek mine
× No obvious outcropping manganese ridges was
observed in recent field checking
× Preliminary rock chip sampling returned
anomalous base metals values
Other work planned for 2008 includes a follow-up drill
program at Frances Furness (gold), and VTEM surveys
at McArthur River (base metals) and Brilliant Well (base
metals and gold).
Following the Goldsworthy transaction Independence
Group (IGO) is the largest shareholder with 11%.
BMY retains a tight capital structure, and will have
~A$4.2m in cash on the successful completion of the
current entitlements issue
