Is it just me, or is it difficult to work out who the major shareholders in GRD are?
GRD seems to update the list monthly on its website. Latest data are as at 29 Feb. Not much change on the list as at 31 Jan. But no Bank of NY or Newton Investments. A comparison with the info on E*trade is useless. Lots of double counting there. Anyway... seems like there is still a number of big holders sitting on the registry.
On another topic, I've been trying to work out how Global Renewables is travelling with the UK tenders mentioned in the half year results presentation of 28 August 07, p. 33.
From what I can make out: Swansea -- ? Cheshire -- should be announ soon on top 2 or 3 (of 13) co's council wants to negotiate further with. Oxfordshire -- missed out. Merseyside -- shortlisted. Essex -- ? York City and North Yorkshire -- not shortlisted. Lothian and Borders -- ?.
I wish the company would provide updates on the opportunities it's tracking!
