Yep that sounds about right
What you are missing is how much of that comes in a few months. Sept to jan is rainy season, so pretty much 1.4 meters downpours in 4 months give or take.
Bucket loads in a few months makes up the majority of annual rainfall
I lived in Darwin for 7 years, they have wet and dry seasons. It's the ferocity of the rain when it does come it pours.
It's not like a token Sydney rainshower.
Its proper heavy rain that for a mine means you got to have pumps going.
And we have seen a small shower and the impact that had with mgmt not prepared flooding blocking access to mestre levels 5 and 6 for weeks.
You cannot dismiss the ongoing runoff of water for the days and weeks and its rained too
