Rather obvious that bliimp is a ARE shareholder foremost and may have a small AIS holding. I say this as bliimp doesn't have much of a handle on the Aeris debt situation. AIS is in a good position for share price appreciation especially considering its very low market cap, the debt is now low when compared to the asset value of the Tritton copper operations.
The debt is not held by sharks as bliimp alludes to, but is held by AIS largest shareholder Special Portfolio Opportunity V Limited (SPOV) (a subsidiary of a fund managed by PAG) who holds 140 million AIS shares.
SPOV hold all the debt of AIS. SPOV are well acquainted with AIS and consider the company is significantly undervalued by the market.
    The comment
"I believe Torrens drilling has been deliberately delayed until the September quarter to allow AIS more time to better their financial position."
is rather foolish in the extreme. Nothing could be further from the truth.
