    I don't think it was unintentional - but i don't think it's bad news either.

    Plug and Abandoned is a general industry term - it means that particular well is to be plugged and abandoned - FOR GOOD for technical and/or operational reasons. The utility and exploitable value of the findings is unaffected however - it can and will be redrilled - it just means that the drill SITE - i.e. the hole that was drilled will not be used again - but it can be re-drilled next door to utilize resources etc.
