I feel your frustration Goofy, but personally I think it was a smart move putting Wong and Fuziah in charge. If they are responsible for closing Lynas (which I don’t believe for one minute will happen) they will be responsible for massive job losses in their electorates. Not just Lynas jobs, the chemical plant next door, the truck drivers and port workers.. the flow on would be massive.
This is all about saving face, much better to have them come up with and accept credit for a solution rather than on the side lines criticizing someone else running the show.
I think Fuziah in particular will suddenly see condisoil as away of solving the problem of storage, and then accept credit for making it happen.
One thing for sure in my opinion, if these two come up with a solution it will be permanent, and if it goes the way I think it will light the fuse on Rorkes Rocket.
