It's been a great week no doubt! I must admit though I agree with the parts of the quote above. No doubt the PFS will back up shareholder claims that this mine is not only viable, but will make an insane amount of money. However, to me VA seems like the type of CEO that will not want to use inflated numbers and unrealistic targets to get a short term pop in the share price from uneducated punters (while those in the business who understand the figures laugh behind his back). Because of this I'm not expecting too much too soon.

Believe me, this is a strategy used by some companies (a few many on here may be familiar with) and a couple I even own!! But from everything I've heard VA say he seems to be in this industry for the long haul and has every intention to mine this property and get the maximum return for the shareholders (he is one too remember!). Some companies are known for having the "for sale" sign in the window because everyone knows they won't get to mining without giving away the farm. Their one and only goal is to boost the share price (by any means necessary) so they can jump ship at an inflated price if a wood duck happens to stroll past. Unfortunately in 2018 there just aren't any of those IMHO. They should be spending far more time value adding for a potential purchaser rather than announcing Fantasy Land predictions that get torn apart by the experts (and cheque holders) anyway.

So I think it will be very interesting to see what numbers VA uses in the PFS compared to some others. I believe he'd want to get serious partners in ASAP and if he comes up with a nonsense PFS (like using a $25 vanadium price for the next 40 years) he'll only look like a fool and won't be taken seriously by the big players in this space. As a member of some of the most influential Boards for vanadium he's actually got a reputation he'd like not to ruin I'd bet.

I still believe that AVL will be bought out eventually. You just don't have this type of quantity and these high grades and go un-noticed. Just look at the money Bushveld Minerals is making!!!! If you're a top tier steel producer why would you even consider going to market to keep up with your demand when for pennies on the dollar you could just buy a company like AVL in a great jurastiction and satisfy that demand for the next 50 years! Luckily for us VA is South African and is no doubt extremely familiar with Bushveld and what their bank balance must look like.

    OK enough from me..........
