If they take over bid was at higher levels, say 20c.. then the options are straight away worth a lot more. With the time value on them they would be worth 12c straight away. You could either sell them for 12c. or exercise them into shares at 12c... which you would then get 20c for. I hope the rumour is just that as I am expecting KRC to be easily 30c in 12 months time.
