I have found any reluctance to issue any formal statements more to do with the proper formalities either not being signed off or the issue not being perceived as materially relevant to shareholders (a point of contention I think).

Many of the things you mentioned would be considered by AVL management as just everyday business that should be expected of a well managed mining company.

Usually if you ask the question you will get an answer, but I agree, being a new year and all a few announcements wouldn't go astray, even if they were just highlighting expectations and timelines.
