Apologies, I need to correct myself: the correct prior standard was AASB 118. That standard states that, "Revenue is recognised when it is probable that future economic benefits will flow to the entity and these benefits can be measured reliably." The sponsorship money from FCC that BIG reported as revenues fit this criteria.
