Some more quick maffs for clever mathematicians out there (looking at you Doss!), if OBJ received $255,000 in revenue (AUD$) and at a estimated 2% of wholesale royalty rate, $12.5 million of wholesale sales occurred during the last quarter and assuming a 200% markup, that is $25 million of sales at retail pricing... which gives the amount of units purchased at around 510,000
Simple assumptions
Wholesale price $25
Retail price $50
Volume 510,000
Retail sales = 510,000 units x $50 = 25.5 mil
Wholesale sales (half of retail) = 500,000 units x $25 = 12.75 mil
2% royalty of wholesale price = 12.5 mil x .02 = $255,000 (OBJ revenue)
Tinker with the numbers as you see fit (especially the wholesale to retail mark up %), but there's a basic overview to play with..
