How does a shorter push the stock price down, they enter at the same price as a long? I'm just asking, because it doesn't make sense to me, so looking for an explanation, if in fact there is one. It seems to me, whenever someones favorite stock goes down, they cry manipulation, as if, whenever a stock goes down its not because the market is down rating it, but because some unnatural force is at work, that seems delusional to me.
