What your missing is the time premium.
Currently the options are just out of the money, so essentially they are all time premium.
Depending when you see the share at 17c you still need to add on the remaining time premium.
How I see it if it went to 17c this quarter on the back of a few announcements then the option would be 17-12+5=10 or 1 bag, compared to share at 17c = 55% profit.
Just my view and why I only own options.
