That’s what intrigues (/worries) me most. These are not amateurs, their systems are not so fallible as to cross disclosure lines without the intent to do so. We are being played by this in/out announcing while actively shorting. The info we are receiving is days old. The algorithms work in microseconds. We are always going to be behind the game. While we may be heralding the shorters pyre, they may be sipping their Krug and having a good old belly laugh at our foolish banter. There is an end game, I’m just not a good enough chess player to see it.
