Why did I think he said it all?

I have no idea mate, I don't have the data, information, and context to give you an accurate answer.

I'd like to think he said it all because it was fact, but after crunching the numbers, I can't see how it could possibly be fact.

Mathematics is the only pure science, and mathematically I can't see why he would say what he said unless the numbers said it was true.

If what the numbers said, and what he said were different, then that's a different issue, and possibly fraudulent / criminal.

One thing I omitted was "annual targets absolutely on track", then 6 weeks later revised down by 25%. Not 5%, or 10%, or 15% OR EVEN A WHOPPING 20%, but 25 fire trucking percent.

Why do I think he said all of that?

It ultimately doesn't matter, I took him for his word based on the facts he presented to me.

I made an investment decision based entirely on the "facts" he gave me, which was approved by the board prior to themeeting.

The "facts" didn't even come close the reality, no where near accurate (off by 38% actually) and I (and others) lost a combined sun of tens of millions of dollars since the AGM.

I don't know if it satisfies your question, but that's the best I've got.
