I can go with a lot of what you said here but the constant hype of ,RF will make it all good, goes a little far sometimes. He owns what approx 13% of the stock in a company that us not under the Ivanhoe banner.
Haven't seen him stump any of his own cash up towards direct project investment. Buying a few shares on market puts money into the sellers pocket not the company.

POS marked with much heraldry when Twiggy came on their board and pumped a bit of cash actually into the company, this didn't do much for them and Twiggy is worth more than RF. Gina pumped over 200M into her Roy Hill Project of her own money for direct costs.
RF has been under direct control for many years under Ivanhoe then indirect as Chairman when sold to CLQ and 14yrs on still no finance or OT with his so called contacts. I think he is a bit more concerned with his own companies proposed startups than this one.
