re: usa department of defense now live in iraq Hi Bronk,

Well done. Pity, however, that the market acted as if it already knew this, going on yesterday's trading, and trading again today. Yet the ASX Release was issued after close of trading tonight. That's prospectively being a bit slow on the continuous disclosure obligations.

That said, can you please explain the difference between tonight's announcement and that of 11th November.

Back then, MUL announced that it was opening its Middle Eastern /African beam on 1st December 2003, 12 months ahead of schedule.

In its release of the 11th, Multimedia stated:

"(this) will cause the company’s Newcastle based Space Facility to open its Middle Eastern/African
beam on 1st December 2003, 12 months earlier than anticipated".

    Tonight, Multiemedia stated:

"Following the successful implementation of the infrastructure to enable the opening of the Middle Eastern/African NSS6 beam, Multiemedia wishes to advise the market that today services are operational and the first customers including the USA Department of Defense are live".

So, when was the ME/A beam opened? 01/12/03 or 06/01/04?

If it was 06/01/04, then why the earlier slightly mischievious reference to 01/12/03?

If, however, it was 01/12/03, then why the delay through to 06/01/04 for what otherwise represented apparently standard, tried and tested, infrastructure?

Both date references cannot be right. Can they?
