TheAustralian in an article has suggested that three of the staff, Blake Mooney, Cameron Sinclair, (an ex-staffer in Shorten’s Office and ex-NSW Police Minister, Peter Anderson’s son, had all experienced the stuff that has gone into Emma Husar’s Office.
They were going to use it to bring down the NSW ALP General Secretary Karla Murnain until last weekend’s poor state economy (QLD, WA and TAS) byelections where the Albanese left and their acolytes had their political nous trounced. Karla is poorly regarded outside her dominant Center Right Unity sub-faction and is despised due to her “factionalism” even within the broader right faction.
There needs to be more ammunition for a full-on civil war. But if Shorten does not do something about it, it would not look too credible in the run-in to the next election.
The VIC ALP branch is also about to go into the Somyurek vs Andrews civil war and obviously there has been leaking about the “red shirts” so much so that the Vic Police could make 16 arrests.
Makes the Democrats in America look like a family rather than a rabble. Even the Californian Democrats and the New York Democrats do not fight like this even tho they have candidates inferior beyond belief.
