So the classic starts at A$200,000. It also appears that Airstream will essentially cover the first years subscription to Buddy, then after that the customer must pay that cost. Hopefully we can get further insight from the company soon on this (Webinar?).
$100/month is only $1,200 per annum or less than 1% of the total cost of the RV per annum, which is very reasonable IMO. As can be seen in my previous post, even at $100/month, we are looking at ~+$3.5m annualised revenue the first year, ~+$7m annualised revenue the second year, ~+$11m annualised revenue the third year etc
I would also expect a rollout to all other models following the success with their Classic model.
All in all a fantastic and unexpected announcement. Again, demonstrating the versatility and potential of Buddy's IoT solutions.
