poor eps high dps, page-3

Thanks for answering bozwell,. mma nta down to 82 cents,to be honest i will probably wait it out as i bought LT and dividend was not bad ,though next 6 months who knows what nta and dividend will be.

I have some other LIC'S purchased around the same time as mma in february,such as hhv and prv ,and they have dropped 14% and 11% since purchased ,mma 21%! and that is what concerns me .

I rang mma today.They told me may be due to 10c per share return to shareholders and 4c dividend ,could be true, people may have held on to stock after 10c return in february (though share price dropped next day approx 6-7 c) to pick up 4 c dividend in march.

In the end they did not know ,and were very non committal about everything, including what they were doing with all that cash.I got the impression they are surprised as i am about how much the sp has dropped.Frankly i am not as concerned about share price, as nta and dividends,if it holds within 10% of current values, i would be o.k,i think!

I am a mug punter like you ,funnily enough the stocks i have purchased in february,other than LIC'S, are down only about 6%-8% (no resource stocks) so much for the professionals! maybe a blindfold and a pin might help!

Anyway ,the next 12 months are going to be interesting.
