Yes but thats what the article is about, safe and easy distribution in the form of ammonia.
And yes I agree EV's way ahead especially with infrastructure and the fact that you don't really need any due to being able to charge from any power source, plus companies already spent so much on it, however if battery charging times and capacity are not improved hydrogen will always be a threat of taking over at some point IMO for the simple fact that hydrogen cars are better in regards to range and filling up.
