A lot has been spent over the years on treating the symptoms of disease, but I'm finding now that we're slowly progressing back to finding the cause and dealing with it before it gets out of hand (go figure). Same goes for dementia as well. A lot of time and money has now gone into the cause and how to prevent it. We're starting to find out that it's only a small amount that are affected by genetics and I'm sure that we'll find out more in due course. Dementia sufferers will only decrease in time.
