reasons for volume increase

Been away for a few weeks, have just scrolled through the posts to see what commentary might be about the increase in volumes but not a lot posted. I will be interested to see why the news is delayed and the meeting details have not been announced. If it is the end of this month a notice would have been sent to shareholders. From memory, March is the month for reports, meeting, votes etc. Will have to go back and review some of the earlier posts in january /february
Has anyone some thoughts on the increase in volumes? Last time I saw this kind of volume increase it seemed to lead into a two week rally around news.
Have not checked the daily trading data yet, in fact have been overly busy with a work campaign but that's done and dusted now so am having some time to myself for a while, smelling a few roses, writing a book and getting some rest. Have been doing 70+ hour weeks and plan to get into the research and analysis side of things.
