RE: Vol increase. It was quite clear vol increases began the day I (and others) made contact with David Burton. The sentiment at the time on HC was GDA had virtually closed up shop and no one was able to get thru. I sourced an old number from an earlier ann then made the call myself. Got thru immediately, spoke to David and was instantly impressed! By the time I got back to my computer volumes were on the rise. I personally bought in more and chased the price to high 2s on the day.
So vol increase I believe relates to the confidence restored the ann was coming out soon. At the time also others made contact with GDA and everyone was happy again. I think vol has a lot to do with current holders but the market is expecting news soon.

RE: Announcement. I think unless it is SPECTACULAR in today's market it could struggle to get a positive response. So I would imagine GDA are tweeking every angle to ensure the best outcome for us SH and sustainabilty with the price. It would be fair to assume if the ann fizzles the price will head south. I for one believe it should have enough foundation to build on (especially in this market). I hope??!
