I will be the first to admit I am a poor money manager.
I am too interested in playing the TA game rather than the conservative approach although I have modified that somewhat and split my investment capital into conservative, semi conservative and spec.
You have the mature approach of that balance between TA and practicality.
In 25 years they will be quoting Jaolsa not Buffet.
