Hi sis,
I am still here and I still hold MHL & Sentry Petroleum.
I have to be honest I am disappointed with the lack of communication from the MHL as to the current status of the company.
IMHO there are at least two items that need to be updated to the market:- The update on the "Gravity Survey" is over due
- Current status of the HoA with MEDINA
The HoA announced on 26/11/2007 stated:
"Both parties are now working towards completion of a more formal, Joint Venture and Joint Venture Operating Agreement, which is anticipated to be completed by late December, 2007."
JMHO tcisboss... I do not believe that MEDINA would be willing to pay all operational costs associated with management and administration of the Kyrgyz operations until they have a formal Joint Venture and Joint Venture Operating Agreement. IMHO it would not be sound business practice. An HoA is "non-binding" and is therefore not enforceable as a contract by one party against the other.- Please See below.
JMHO we NEED an update NOW.- MOU's and Heads of Agreement's
- Examples of agreements generally intended to be "non-binding" include 'Memoranda of Understanding' (MOU's) and 'Heads of Agreement' (HOA's).
- MOU's are generally entered into to formally signify a strategic alliance.
- Heads of Agreement are sometimes used during the process of negotiating a contract where some specific items have been discussed and agreed, subject to the agreement of further terms in the future.
- Neither an MOU nor an HOA is binding on either party, and is therefore not enforceable as a contract by one party against the other.
