If there was a genuine, negative, company destroying leak, or major concerns regarding revenue or growth, the short percentage would be far, far higher than the current 1.49%. Instead the instos are shorting and covering day by day to get the price down which presents less risk for them should CFDA come out of nowhere.
A total short percentage of at least 10% would however make me a little nervous. But it’s not at 10%, it’s currently very very low which suggests a lot of upside potential.
I honestly believe this is a combined to attempt to smash the SP down so the exact same instos can scoop up cheap shares for the long term, knowing the company is in a fantastic position. This is a rotten cycle however I’d look at it as a buying opportunity. As they say, be fearful when others are greedy, and be greedy when others fearful.
