Authier is still a high value project and given already significant investment in PFS, DFS and environmental studies it will progress forward. The overhead of a BAPE is 6 months + any time associated with preparing Environmental Impact Assessment. I have corroborated this by doing some research into previous BAPE processes.

Key message from the recent update on 05/07/18 "Summary: Authier Environmental Studies and Permitting Update"

In the event the Company elected to proceed down the BAPE approval path, the Company believes it can complete all the environmental work required for a full Environmental Impact Assessment standard as required by the Environment Quality Act within several months. The initial phase of the BAPE takes two months, and the inquiry and public hearing process of the BAPE takes place over a period of no more than four months, followed by approval of the Minister.

I've no doubt, given the schedule change for Authier by approximately 6 months, that SYA will now run a parallel exploration strategy with an accelerated exploration of WA tenements. There is approximately $11mill in bank which would support this, however there may be some other more creative approaches undertaken to support funding if required.
