Yes OOO we will all hopefully be very happy by Christmas.
My interpretation of the description of drilling 9 holes into these same reservoirs is clearly saying that they are a continuation of the same sands only. So if the sands dip down far enough below the water line before reemerging then the water could form a break between the two fields. I don't think we have been lead to believe it is one field yet...I could be wrong here.
With regards to Whisky's comments on the non material nature of the handover of the drill location to Stenna I think he fails to grasp the context of Caths meaning. Cath told us all that the handover of the drill location was an important milestone because it was tied to the final go ahead for Stenna to prepare for sailing to Samo. That's why we have been waiting and that's why the delay from end of June to possible end of August has some real meaning for us. Add that to the delay with Petronas and we have every right to be questioning matters.
Sure we all understand that there is a deadline for govt compliance. It's also unlikely that FAR won't be able to make the deadline but we all still like to be abreast of what is and could be developing. Whether we own a hundred thousand shares of twenty million is irrelevant. To smugly state that this is the nature of the oil business and that if you don't understand this nature you should go and buy Telstra is just a wanker comment expressed by your typical dickhead who thinks they have some higher level of understanding of the share market.
Something is causing the compounding delays. It could be very little and it could all be sorted tommorow. Until it does get sorted I like the fact that we are firstly recognizing there are issues and secondly we are seeking answers. That's how early warnings can be gleaned. To construe these actions as negativity and down ramping is just another comment that appears to come from someone on a high horse whilst looking down their nose.
I'm very positive with my investment. I have a lot of shares which support my view. I greatly appreciate management but those things will never stop me from questioning them every step of the way. I have lost money before by being too complacent.
As I have said before.... I am convinced Cath breaths a sigh of relief when I put my notebook away after making the most of any time I get to spend with her. Tones and Ksingh will attest to that along with many others who have met me at meet and greets.
I think this next coming week should hopefully clear the air.... and hopefully put another spurt of value into our shares.
