i would assume that at the time of seeking funding for hammer hill nickel, that aru needed mithril to fund the image details, and other info to decide on the projects future.
Therefore nothing wrong at this stage, add to the fact that aru i believe are not planning to dilute their holding in this project other than previous agreement.
It's mithrill thats diluting their portion?

'Other side of the coin', whos to say if the resource IS there? Reasonable quantity? Mineable grade? Still risky?
Maybe your contact knows more? Maybe bhp have sent the geo's out to double check prior to signing the deal?Picture may not tell the full story.

If it's really good, bhp may buy aru in lieu of minor interest. Aru value basically 'change from their lunch money' isn't it?
