That could still make sense if you look at it this way.
MS was not aware of Newport mining ( very new site)but was aware of Newport gold.
He could have assumed that the person that wrote to him meant Newport Gold when he referred to "the website you are looking at.."
That is all very different from what you originally wrote in your earlier post.
